Working tirelessly behind the scenes, the Arthaus committee bring our events and productions to life, each one of them an expert in their field. Meet the team behind the magic.

Samantha Corrieri Dela

President

Samantha is the only warranted child and adolescent psychologist in Malta with a Masters degree from Leiden University and a Bachelor degree from the University of Malta. She spent seven years working at Inspire taking a supervisory role to psychologists in training in her later years there. Samantha also formed part of the Statementing Board with the Department of Education and runs her own private practice. Samantha’s passion is dance and she studied ballet vocationally. She’s been a member of Arthaus since 2001 where she served as part of the artistic team on the committee for several years. She was involved in the choreography of several shows including Belliegħa (2016) and Carmen (2013). She is currently serving as president to the committee.

Annemarie Grech

Vice-President

AnneMarie has a Bachelor degree in Education from the University of Malta and has been teaching for the past 23 years. She has always been involved in the production of school shows and organising various events. She joined the Arthaus committee in 2008 and helps in organising all fund raising activities. She manages the front of house and ticketing office for all performances.

Neil Zahra

Chief Executive Officer

Neil joined the company in 2013 playing a part in the production of “Dazzle”. Through the unique family spirit of Arthaus, Neil has been lucky enough to learn and grow both as an individual and as an amateur performer while making plenty of friendships along the way.

Neil is a Masters of Advocacy student at the University of Malta and formed part of the KSU – Kunsill Studenti Universitarji. Throughout the years, he has taken part in a number of productions with Arthaus and other established theatre houses on the island.

Yandrick Agius

Marketing Manager

Yandrick began his involvement with Arthaus in 2011 with ‘Destination Musicals’. He has been an active member since, both on and off stage with involvement in the production team and the committee, as well as a coordinating marketing. Whilst involved with Arthaus, Yandrick remained active in the local theatre scene through Studio 18, Teatru Manoel and FM Theatre, amongst others. Yandrick has also read for a Bachelor of Laws(Hons) at the University of Malta. He has completed his musical theatre studies at Arts Educational Schools, London and forms part of the Moulin Rouge! ensemble on the West End.

Ben Darmanin

Honorary Member 

Ben Darmanin is a theatre producer, entrepreneur and strategic consultant with over 25 years’ experience operating at the highest levels of the international performing arts industry.

He graduated with an MA in Musical Theatre, and was awarded Associate of the Royal Academy of Music (ARAM) in recognition of his contribution to the industry.

Ben’s career has evolved from performance into leadership, working alongside some of the most influential figures in global theatre. He spent four years working closely with Sir Cameron Mackintosh on major international productions and events, and now works as an Associate Producer to award-winning director and choreographer Andy Blankenbuehler (Hamilton, Cats, Dirty Dancing), contributing to work across the UK and New York.

As the founder of multiple ventures, Ben specialises in building high-performance environments and bridging the gap between training and industry. In 2013, he launched A Week In The Life, an international programme connecting emerging talent with leading creatives, and has since developed a broader portfolio spanning education, production and consultancy.

His consultancy work extends beyond the arts, advising high-net-worth individuals and organisations across sectors including property, hospitality, leisure and the creative industries. Known for his clarity, discretion and results-driven approach, Ben works closely with clients to refine systems, elevate standards and unlock growth.

In 2021, he founded The Emerge Method, a framework designed to support resilience, wellbeing and sustainable performance at the highest level, and is a Trustee of Herts Inclusive Theatre as well as arthaus Malta, reflecting his commitment to broadening access to the arts.

Ben divides his time between the UK and New York, continuing to develop projects, partnerships and people at the intersection of creativity and leadership.

Claire Ellul

Financial Controller

Claire pursued a career in the finance sector for twenty years, working with established companies such as KPMG, ST Microelectronics and BOV. She has now embarked on a new journey and is currently studying for a diploma in Inclusive Education. Claire has been helping Arthaus for the past eight years and joined the committee as financial controller in 2016.

Amy Caruana Dingli

Secretary 

After completing her Bachelor of Psychology at the University of Malta, Amy wanted to further her training in dance teaching and musical theatre. In 2018 Amy completed a three year course at Momentum Performing Arts Academy, UK. She has obtained a Diploma in Performance and Teaching, as well as an ISTD teaching diploma in Ballet, Modern Dance and Street Dance. Amy currently works as a dance teacher at Seed Dance Studios, as well as continuing to be involved with Arthaus as a committee member and choreographer. 

Neil Grech

Media Manager

Neil is in his final year of his studies at the University of Malta, where he is reading for a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Arts. He has been involved with Arthaus since 2008, when he was at secondary school and he has taken on multiple main roles in productions such as A War to End All Wars (2014) and Belliegħa (2016). Neil recently joined the committee of Arthaus and he administers social media and marketing, where his skills in photography and digital art design are very useful to the organisation. Neil also manages his own graphic design company, Nisġa.  

Elisa Gatt

Junior Financial officer and Secretary

Elisa has been taking part on stage with Arthaus since she was 10 years old, starting with Destination Musicals, leading up to Belliegha. During the production of Addams family she served as a Directors Assistant and also formed part of the backstage team prior to joining the committee. Now that she is currently studying Finance and Insurance at the University of Malta, she continues her involvement with Arthaus by pursuing the role of Junior Financial Officer and Secretary.

James Camilleri

Consultant

A software developer and occasional designer by trade, James has always been intimately involved with the Arthaus family. A University of Malta graduate in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence with Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, with additional training in digital marketing and an Exhibition Award from Trinity-Guildhall in his Grade 8 Individual Acting Skills examination, James has a cross-disciplinary skill-set which has proven instrumental to the realisation of many of Arthaus’s projects. Introduced to the fledgling committee at the tender age of sixteen, he has been a part of every major Arthaus production to date, be it on stage or helping behind the scenes with graphic and branding design, video art and cinematography, light and set design, and using his IT chops to make sure the emails keep coming through.
